When trying to find good reliable information on the internet about occupied territories it is very complicated. There can be either to little or to much information out there. The occupying powers flood online spaces with misinformation and media is generally restricted from reporting on the the ground in occupied places.
This campaign aims to create a space online with books, reports, lectures and documentaries that are available to the public for free. It aims to help everyone from students to journalists to politicians to have a safe space where they can get reliable information and background on occupied territories
We have started on the Western Sahara library and are now working on the Palestine library
We aim to include many occupied territories and we need your help in collecting more resources and building the library
Theory of Change
We believe creating a resource database will help many different groups of people. Any student that’s writing on the topic will have easy access to sources, any organizer that needs the latest report or documentary will have it available, any journalist that wants to get a good understanding of the issue, any politician, the general public etc. Everyone should have access to vetted information about occupied territories.
Our bigger vision is to assemble these kinds of materials for all the occupied territories in order to increase the understanding of the mechanisms of occupation, how it tends to look similar wherever it occurs and to have a place where people can discover & learn about occupation more broadly. This we hope will lead to the various solidarity movements gradually getting closer to each other and activists starting to collaborate more across borders and movements.

We’re looking for more people who can help us research all the different resources we’re looking for and reach out and ask for permission for us to upload them when applicable. We then need help with uploading the resources to website
