The Saharawi refugee camps have experienced devastating flash floods due to rare and unusual rainfall. The Saharawi refugees have already been living under dire refugee camp conditions with many people suffering from malnutrition. September’s flash floods have internally displaced hundreds of families.
The community was not prepared to handle additional crisis and is in desperate need of help. The extremely difficult situation in the camps is not covered by most media outlets which leads to very few people and countries donating to support them in this difficult time.
We ask you to support this emergency appeal with your donation. 100% of which will go directly to the Saharawi Red Crescent and their life-saving work providing flash-flood victims with shelter, food, water and clothing.
